In walks a guy with what we would called “shattered glass in a box”, which once resembled a backglass to a 1967 Chicago Coin Criss Cross Ski Ball game. The guy literally had a box full of broken pieces. So we all sat down and played “jigsaw” and put the glass back together. It was a team effort with Steve working on the initial puzzle, and others just walking by and finding a piece to fit. Suzanne finished the puzzle. After that was done, we used clear packing tape and taped the back side, so the glass kind of would stay in one piece. Then off to the scanner! Luckily this glass doesn’t have a lot of extreme details, it was pretty easy to make “as one” in Photoshop. You can see the before and after results below.
